My Trip To Bintan :)

I am back from Bintan Trip! Yessss'ah it was FUN FUN FUUUUN! Silly me to think i'd regret it in the first place. Man, i would wana go travelling like this again someday =) Off we went to take ferry at Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal. Upon reaching there, Dudi(was it?) welcomed us. The teachers took his car while the rest of us 30 students gotta squeezed in this mini bus. It was crampy and what's worst was the road was all bumpy and made my butt... most of our butt go poom-poom-poom. Painful lah, but you know, you'll never get this kinda thing in Singapore. Hahaha. I'm gonna miss the sauna bus! Haaah. Day one, we went to the school to take a look for the boys group to set up the library and then headed to Loola Resort for lunch and games. It was pretty laid back and rainy lah. The resort reminded me very much of kampung. The homes above the sea thing. The coldness at night. The howling of the wind. The lizards eating the mosquitoes. The coconut trees. The many stars appearing. But their living conditions there was much worst than kampung. Best part of day two was when i woke up early and caught up with the close up sunrise experience! Man, it was wonderful. Just after sunrise, there a rainbow... Up close! Imagine how excited i was?! Wahahahha. We also went to complete our task by the different groups at the school. My group's task was to teach them English. What's more with, Gundu Bubbles as the leader! Hahahaha, fate i must say :) Surprisingly, the kids were better than we thought. They could spell and do dictations but i guess what's holding them back was they were afaid to speak in English. I knew i did a bad job at the school. I went all quiet but i knew i needed to get rid of that uneasiness feeling! It was only half a day there and after lunch, off we head to the orphange home. They were soooo kesian lah. Most of them were little kids. There's this little girl who cried when we came to help. She's sooo young and knows how to feel touch, that's soooo i dano how to say lah. The rest of them were so polite. They were sooo excited choosing the clothes, toys, everything. These kids, dont deserve to be in such a state. But there's always a reason for everything lah. They showed us around. It was a really big piece of land i must say and very ulu too!!! Haaah. After much intereacting, we head to the resort for dinner and its relaxing time! Day three was at the orphanage again. Though most of the boys went to the school to settle the library. The rest of us were suppose to help with the laying of the rubber mats in the new building for the boys at the orphanage. Most of the girls went to play with the kids while the boys did the job. Malas mah! Haaah. Played some games and a bit of soccer. Aishah took me around. She's soo sweeet lah. She's got a dimple in the left cheek. And her eyes were big and round. I swear if i can adopt her, i will. She showed me the perigi, mosque, the holes they dug to put fishes, alot more. I knew she knows its all coming to an end and we werent gonna visit the next day and we went all quiet. She's cute lah. I did told her to study hard and all, hopefully she remembers me the way i remembered her :) After lunch, we head to the resort for rock climbing and archery. At least i did better in rock climbing rather than archery! Haaahha, yeah wookey, i know i am a potek! That night it was campfire. I was sitting so close to the fire. It was cool wookey! Played some games, sang some songs. It was funny to see the all the boys tied up their clothes, exposing their belly and modeled around.... Cheey de bah Faris! Wahahha. I likeeeeee xia! That night we didnt sleep straight away. Played UNO, murderer, heart attack! Afiq crita his encounter with ghosts. Scary lah. Mariam, Kanna and i got scared and decided to sleep with the 4 boys at 'cafe2'. Fun laaah xia! Day four was even crazy lah! After breakfast we went kayaking. Kayaking was sooo much easier than canoeing. The sea was only 1m high, imagine! Obviously it was fun. Berendam in the sea for a while and i got myself sunburns on my face! Haaaah. After kayaking, we boarded that mini bus and went to the deeper open sea and tried bomb netting. We went up into this boat, its got 2 stories lah. It like jumping into a new in the open sea. Sound easy but its scary wookey, especially the second story one. I knew i had to jump but i couldnt. They taught i was gonna cry, but DUHH, i wouldnt cry lah just cause i'm afraid of jumping!... Aiyooo. But in the end i did jumped, with Dudi at the very last minute. Haaah. I am sooo glad i jump! Faris was scared but at least he wasnt as scared as i am! Arghhh. Jac was sooooo daring and jumped on the highest deck. Gua salute sama lu lah eh! Haaah. It was SO-LID! We said our bubyes to the people at loola resort after lunch and head to the hotel near the ferry terminal. That was when i lost my nike waterbottle for the 2nd time! Ah man, i suck lah eh! Aiyooo. The ride was bumpy and soo hot! Took us nearly an hour to reached. Most of us thought it might be a really nice hotel, but but but... you know i know lah eh! Hehehe. After settling down, we head to Pulau Penyengat. Imagine we had to wear lifevests from the hotel till the boat point! Haah. The pulau was great and i bet there were loads to see. We went back to eat dinner by the sea. The mee bakso is yummyly delicious xia! I sooo cannot tahan. You cant get that kinda taste in Singapore! We then head back to the hotel, gather the same people the day before and played UNO again! Haaaah. In the end, we got tired and watched tv till we fall asleep. Day five was shopping time after breakfast!!! Woohooo. I didnt know what to shop for myself actally. Didnt buy much lah. Walked around to see the neighbourhood. Gosh, most of their shops opened at even 8am xia. There's even G200. Faris bought penyu eggs. And i guess i am sooo not gonna try those. I love tortoise xia and they`re gonna extinct if this continues. Haaah. After that, we all packed our bags and apa lagi, balik Singapore lah! I reached home at about 6+pm lah. I had the BESTEST time there and i hope all that is not gonna end. Travelling around the world, here i come :) The most important part is, THANKS Gundu Bubbles for the company, the pampering, taking care of me, the star gazing, the laughter, the encourangement, the smiles, the company in the bus rides though we are both too chuby to sit together and ferry rides, the gifts, the sotongs, the everything but most of all... You just being YOU! You're the best lah. I may not know the groups of girls there and i was the only girl not knowing the other girls, but it was nice to have you even if its a metre away :) You better dont break my heart lah eh!
