Hello Friendsssss (: Seems like i've been saying alot of 'friends' ever since i started working. HAHA! No, not suppose to be kental wookey friend! *Hands on hips* These days i've been watching movies recently and just yesterday i've got my hands on Inkdeath! Yaaay! The stoty's getting complicated and i am loving it! Man, how i wish i could be in Inkworld. I wana see Dustfinger do his fireee thing! Anyway yesway nor-way (-.-), one show that fasinates me is "Super size me". Its not actually like a movie but more of a documentary. I think it dates from the year 2000. This dude decided to do 'an experiment' on himself. Wait, its not some kinda weird potions to keep him all hamsom. He decided to eat MacDonalds for a month! Yes, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Within that month he gotta eat every single thing on the menu and in all kinds of meals; regular, extra value and super size! Gee, i didnt realise in America they've even got super size meals. And even double super big gulps! If the casher person ask if he wants to up the size, he's asked to do so. ![]() So what made him do such a thing? In 2000, these 2 teens sued MacDonald for making them obese; which they call it an 'injury'. Studies were made. Experts were gathered. MacDonald lovers were interviewed. But tough luck, there wasnt any prove that eating MacDonalds leads to obesity. It is said that when MacDonald's first started out, their regular cokes were the size of a small cup which is now 'suitable' for the kids. That is suppose to be the healthy size a person should consume. Same goes to the packet of fries as well. And imagine a packet call the super size which is sooo freaking huge. The size of both your palms put together! Sound yummy??? Well yeah but..... pretty unhealthy... Aww man! We all know that eating MacDonalds is not healthy. Yes. You may get obese from eating it too much. Studies shown that obesity kills. The same way how smoking kills us too. This dude who sued the ciggarette vendors, and won the battle decided to fight in the court to make to make 'obesity illegal'. We all know the harmful effects of smoking but being obese... we have to admit that we dont really know much. But by 'banning' obese people, wouldnt it affect one's emotional self? I mean a person might not be obese by eating fast food. They may be born obese. Its such a touchy issue isnt it? So what happend in the end with the guy? Hehe, you go find out yourself. Heeh! Did the two girls won in the end? Nah, because the facts given werent enough. This documentary was released to warn the people of America about the harmful effects of obesity. In 2004, MacDonalds omit their super size meals and apparently did it not because they saw this but its for healtier purposes. Rigghhht. Since then, MacDonalds opt for healtier choices for their customers. Dont you agree? Top of it all, who doesnt like eating fast food? I admit at least i do. But remember, keep a well-balanced diet. Perhaps i'm not the kind of role modal cause i am vertically challenged to earth as well but i do try to keep fit! Andddd friends, try eating SUBWAAAAAY next! I manyaak suka lah the Subway Tuna! Yuuuuum! Been missing it man ;( Enough about MacDonalds, go watch it for yourself if you wanna! Now, i've gotta get back to watching Manja Lara in youtube. Almaaaak, i sukaaa lah the cerita. It always keep me waiting for what's gonna happen next! But, awww man, the ending of the story also very kecik darah one. Tell me, is there Manja Lara 2 or what??? JaNnA-go-JaNnAnaSs (n.n).V.. |
