Woo-weee, guess who's back?! Saya lah, who else kan? Heeh! I just got back from Kota Kinabalu last tuesday. Taking rides in the airplanes can be kinda scary. But i think most of the time, it made me hungry for most reasons... Dang, i am kinda weird! Muahahhaha. Kota Kinabalu is awesomeee! For those who fancy the nature, kampungs and a breathe of fresh air, go head down there for a break (: Actually, my aunt and uncle moved to Sabah cause Uncle 'moves' around while working. She invited us cause she was bored and needed entertainment! Haaah! So cute lah she. At first i was like 'awww man, i'm going with the makciks...'. But it turned out way fuuuun-ner than i thought. Yes we did went to the various popular wet markets there, 3 big markets; 2 of them are just purely vegetables and fruits. Imagine being me, i cannot tahan the fruits man. Uncle rent a van for all 15 of us and honestly i couldnt take the smell of this certain fruit.... you cant find it here. Its buah tarap and this buah something. So fruit lovers, you all must get your asses here. We stayed over 'unplanningly' on the second day at Ranau; the kampung high up the moutains hoping to see Mount Kinabalu clear the next morning. There's this park where you can see it from a far, and woah, its so mesmerising. Though you can see the sun rays, its pretty cold down there... around 16 degrees and below. From that park, one can drive up higher to the entrance where you can start hiking. My Uncle being sooo semangat, he drove is there with the fully loaded van. Mama was sitting stoinkly and i swear i tried to stop myself from laughing. I do agree its pretty scary, with the steep one way road and you can see forest trees down below. Its 1000km+ up high!! Someday i'll hike up there. Uncle says, its gonna be pretty hard for smokers, so i bet i'll get a pretty good chance eh? (: I didnt get to see any tribe guy because of the shortage of time but my guess would be, those guys grew 'mordern' already. I mean whats wrong with dressing and being different? I think its cool. Apadahhh! Anyways, i was looking out for cute Sabah-ians... but most of them are short lah! There's this one guy at this place call Pasar Phillipines. Yes you got it right, majority of them are from there. Aunt says most are 'illegal immigrants' trying to run away from their country to make a better living. This guy winked at me and i was like... 'wah mat kampung also gatal eh..'.. Muahahahah!. But i do believe most of them are pretty sweet. Awwww! And you know what i'm thinking? Perhaps someday i wana find someone like my Uncle. We could travel around, bring our family and friends over and mostly importantly smelling the nice fresh air! Rugi you know if never smell. Heeh! Pictures down below (: Aunt's place. / Pakcik helping us pack the ikan kerings. Meeee lah (: / My Aunts wants a shot at Pasar Tamu.
