GREEN DAY live in Singapore 140110

Wohooooooo \m/  Here's my only picture. Didnt took much pictures cause i was more into the music, head banging, jumping and like Metallica always say ,"Fuck the cameras, you're at our gig to rock not to go snapping away". And suprisingly that was what Billy Joe said too yesterday. Memories are kept close in our heart, he said. Awwwww! Saya sungguh suka! I was actually really nervous and excited by the time i got home after halfday of working. Nervous cause i was on my own in the moshpit. Excited cause its Green Day's first time here ever and i finally get to see Tre Cool and that Jason Frease guy whom i only get to see in their live concert on tv and youtube. And woooo, he is hot! It took Green Day 21 freaking years before they made it to Singapore.....Their first time ever! I didnt know how to get there so i took a cab from Kallang and dang, it wasnt the best choice cause the traffic was jammed pack and it cost alot more. I got there around 7.30pm and head straight for the entrance; which i dont know where but i followed the crowd. Got my ticket ready and plasters on the back of my heels for extra ventilation from blisters but it ended up pointless anyway. LOL! Since i was on my own, i looked out for the rest of the 'loners' and stand beside them. I was telling myself if they can get crazy to GD, i can too. That boosted up my spirits in a way lah. The cameraman recorded the crowd and we went 'woo woo woooo' before the show started. On the dot at 8pm Prima Donna came out rocking the stage. I must say they do remind me of Panic at the Disco with a mix of The Suns; those trumpets, piano, groovy music and gorgeous curls. They are actually pretty good, ya'all must check them out in myspace (: Ten minutes after PD's performance, this bunny mascot came on to entertain the crowd. So funneh the bunneh! When the music's playing 'Song for the century' everyone knows they're coming out! I was literally getting jelly legs when i saw all 3 of them on stage while playing their first song '21st century breakdown'. I was freaking-out-and-letting-go. When people put their hands up in the air, i was thinking shall i do an 'I love you sign' or 'Rock on sign' or just simply a fist. HAHA! I am such a nerd! But i got that figured out anyway. My neck is aching from all the head banging and i wonder how do rockstars do that in.... well most all of their songs? Imagine! LOL! They were supposed to end at 10.30pm but the the crowd was like shouting "ENCORE!". And they played on. A Green Day concert isnt complete without their classic songs like 'Dookie', 'Wake me up when september ends', 'American idiot', 'Minority', 'Basket Case', 'Jesus of Suburbia', a whole lot of others and ending with 'Time of your life'. Their concert ended up ending pretty late, around 11.35ish. I heard they left the place at 1am. I was so HAPPY when they sang THAT all, including 'King for a day', complete with crazy hats like what they did in live concerts! I am one happppppy girl right now! Ohoo and to top it off, they even had fireworks on stage. How awesome is that? That totally sets the mood and got everyone jumping. I mean, which band has got fireworks? They are different, unique and awesome live! Billy Joe rocked some famous rock tunes; from Black Sabbath to AC DC.It IS indeed a very humbling experience for me. The cost of the tickets doesnt matter cause it was all worth it. A dream came true. They've proven to me that they are indeed one of the best and they give the very best to their fans. YOU GO GREEN DAY! It IS indeed a MUST see concert for ALL GREEN DAY FANS \m/ Please dont say that i am bragging too much cause i am merely sharing my joy of happiness but i know of someone who is always bragging constantly if you ask me. Tsk, pity these people~ And who says there isnt much crowd? The moshpit area was jammed packed and the seated area as well.  And with that, it sums up my day. Awesome stuff! Green day come again another day yeah? (; Finally i can say that i am one of those people in the crowd shouting Billy Joe's singnature shout to pump up the crowd, "Ehhhhhh ohhhhhhhh". Lol! JANNA.
