Making noises in Jooly!

 Halo World, Guess who turned a year older on saturday? Me me me! Lol! Do i feel any different? Nah, i still feel the same. I turned 17 for 5 years now. I kinda like it that way. So on friday night i went on a late night drive with Zaheerah. I've never celebrated with someone on the midnight of my birthday so she should feel honoured! LOL! When she came to pick me up, i was excited. I wanted to eat at Simpang Bedok and i showed her the way and we got lost! I totally sucked at directions though i managed to lead her right up till Tampines. If we're participating on Amazing Race, we are so gonna lose. Lol! But Zaheerah took out her iphone and i was impressed that it actually detects the road pretty well on gprs. She did this route thing and she told me to look at the moving dot to ensure that we're going on the right way. I didnt know the phone can work like that! Now i can never get lost!! We got to our destination and what else, its makan time! I ate a lot that day. From Mc Griddles breakfast in the morning to yummy Rendang Chicken for lunch i was feeling beef-y so i ordered mee goreng daging. It was gooood! Zaheerah had lamb steak and goodness, the meat is so tender that it slides down your throat! We had chicken wing set, cheese fries and mushroom soup. New Hawa Restaurant looks like its nothing special but when you get the taste of the food.... You are sure gonna come back for more. I think I'm gonna bring my mum for that lamb steak someday (: And look what she got me. Its an acrylic floral painting with my name on it and it glows in the dark, how thoughtful. Its so pretty and heartfelt. I know she put all her hard work and that is why i love love it. See, its easy to please me. I put it on my wall already and it instantly pops! Hahaha! I told her she should really pursue arts or at least draw stuff and post them online. I would buy it, would you? I couldn't find an ice cream cake in the late night, so i got Ben and Jerry's instead. Macademia nuts are yummmy! Seriously i need to diet lah after this. _____________Pictures_____________     ___________________________ I never really had a friend who stood by me all these while. I've never really had a friend who would go through such trouble like making a handmade card (Annisa did) for me or a beautiful painting like Zaheerah did. Nor do i have friends i never meet before who would go all out and tel me to get something with his credit card. I never really had a friend who would understand me as i am, who would except me as i am, who believes in me. Not until i met these special people in ITE; Annisa, Ruth, Suhui, Haikal and in MDIS; Zaheerah. I never would have thought we could be close friends from the first sight. Lol! Its a loooong story but i am glad i met them. I used to think that friendships is about satisfying your friend more than yourself, to not hurt your friend's feelings therefore i dont really say out my thoughts but its not all that. Really it isnt. A real friend would still stick to you even though you told them the darnest truth. A real friend would stick by you even though you're penniless. A real friend wont look down on you. A real friend would tel you that you've got stuff stucked on your teeth. A real friend would advise you and tel you the honest truth. A real friend would tel you to hold your chin up high when everyone else is judging you. And its true what Annisa says in her blog about best friends. Its very hard to find one these days. As quoted from her blog: "If and when I find my best friend, he shall be my husband and soulmate through life. Or if and when I find a best friend, she shall be my bridesmaid and my source of consult."  And awww look at what the work buddies got for me on friday after work. Has was so kurang asam, she bamed the cake on my face and i was too slow to catch her when she's running barefooted! Lol! And good for her, she got a promotion. Sampay blushing Hassy when saying tahniah to her. Heeh! Assistant Manager says its the least she could do after what happened to the boy and the school and myself. Gosh, seriously i was pleasantly surprised and she knows how i can get all teary easily. But hey, i managed to control myself wookey! I've got the BEST COUSIN cum assistant manager (at work) and i adore her! And i like it that its a secret and not everybody knows about it. I'd hate it if people think i've got special treatment, really i never do and i would have quitted if it happens. To me birthdays are not about presents. I mean presents are just things and things i can get on my own. Its about the company, the cake, the candles, the wishes, the laughter and most importantly the happiness. And yay my birthday wish came true! I am going back to school this August (: So who will win the soccer finals you think? Neatherlands or Spain? And for the hundredth time, i dont think believing in the parrot or the octopus or the fish or whatever works. Period~ JANNA :D
