Goodbye wisdom tooth...I'll miss you.

 Halo World, Guess who got her wisdom teeth out today? Me me me! Gosh i was worried if my teeth wont come out. Lol, yeah that was how silly i am. So i came in the morning with mama. I got my appointment at National Dental Centre (NDC) since i'm still a "patient" there cause i used to have braces. There wasnt anyone else it was pretty fast. Made payment and proceed to the waiting area. By 9am i was called in, the nurse explained things and got me to put on the scrubs, this shoe plastic thing and hair net thing. I actually thought there wasnt any need for that, we just get in, pluck it out and done but it wasnt like that. The dentist is a lady and she's really nice. I've been labeled as "chinese" on my sticker tag thing for 2 years and she actually bothered to change it to malay. She's really sweet. She said its better to pluck out the bottom one; which is giving me problems and the one on top. The one on top might grow out and hurt the gums soon. So when you wanna remove it, do take two out at the same time, top and bottom. And we went in the surgical room. I sat on the dental-chair-thing, the nursers put on some handkerchiefs on top of me, got me to lay down and get comfy. Dentist came warned me about the injections to make my mouth numb and i was like "woah, its a freaking sharp needle and long one too". I'd like to think i'm not afraid of needles but i'd rather not watch them poke me in the process. I closed my eyes, the dentist gave me 3 jabs... It was "OUCHHHHHH!". Not being dramatic but its true. I got my left eye teary and the nursers were asking if i'm wookey, got me a tissue, see so nice. They are practically aunties but they do their work with sincerity, i like that. The solution was so bitter. You need to get your face disinfected as well. This nurse was using this bitter solution all over my cheeks, it felt so cold. And around my teeth. Yes its bitter, you could probably imagine my face when i get a taste of it in my mouth... LOL! I was thinking how it'll be like if minahs with cake face come for surgery. Imagine they are in my shoes and the nurse wipe the solution over their faces, confirm got a lot of make up on it. Its funny! So if you're gonna go for a day surgery, do not put on any make up. Wasted only. HAHA! Dentist came and is all set. She is fast and steady lah... i like! She got my bottom one out first. I dont feel a thing and even her pressure wasnt that much. And i was moaning (apparently) in response. HAHA! Then she got the top one out, she said the top one was an easy extraction compared to the bottom one. Then she was like, "Thats it, you did it". Easy breezy and fast. I got my wisdom tooth with me now. Surprisingly its fully developed but its only stuck inside the gums. The bottom one is bigger than the top one though. The nursers were asking if i feel giddy and such but really i fell fine. Except that my cheeks were numb, my vision was blurry... duh i didnt bring my glasses and i was hungry... LOL! See, the older generation in the workforce are generally really nice. They do things sincerely with a never-failed-smile on their faces and therefore, they appear more genuiene with their service. Makes me think, i could have been a nurse myself but nahhh i stink in science. Haha! This one nurse was trying to talk to me and gossip about her other friend but really if my mouth wasnt half-numb, i would have talked to her. LOL! I feel fine except that my gums hurt and there's 2 holes in my mouth now. I can talk but if i move my mouth alot, it'll be painful. I cant eat rice or anything hard this few weeks. Its like i'm on a liquid diet or something. HAHA! We'll see if it work eh. And i dont get it how people say you're gonna get fever, you're gonna get bruises (Well i think i got protected by my chubby cheeks....heeh), its gonna swell really bad, its gonna this and that, so dramatic but i dont feel like that. Perhaps i am just the lucky few. But i gotta say, i dont wanna experience that jab ever again! Yikes! Scary! I didnt know i have to take medications and i've got a pretty long mc but i still need to work, at least half day and i still have school to attend. Friday would be a darn long day at work. But lucky there's saturday to look forward to. I'm gonna go shopping... Its been a loooong time. Heeh! Ah look at the time, i'd better get going. And to those who's thinking about extracting your teeth.. (Right, as if people read this... but WTH), better be as comfy as you can. And dont bother putting on make ups.
