Hello World, Back to work week this week was okay. Kinda miss work actually, eh no, kinda miss the people at work. Hopefully this other half of the year would be a really fast-pace one. Heh! We had a school workshop at NSRCC the other day. Very very peaceful surroundings I must say. The greens, the orangy gold fishes, just wow. Glad to be out of the office once in a while. Workshop was all about an active mind, thinking. Thinking thoughts, thinking process, thinking about what really is thinking. Pretty deep stuff. One thing I learn from the speaker, Mr Colleen was what he said, that "If you know the wrong, you won't have to be corrected". That makes perfect sense. We all are learning from the rights and wrongs, though refusing to learn anything is another thing.... At the end of the day, life is a learning process. Oh yes it is. Anyways, as promised here are some pictures of Phuket :
So that sums up my little adventure in Phuket. I love Thai people. They are like I've already said, well-mannered, polite and also very accommodating. All these riot things are not the only thing that defines Thai people. Nope. The world needs to see the other side of these Thai people, the positive. It was a good experience, reminded me a lot about the simplest things that we Singaporeans tend to forget when we are busy working. I'll see you in another adventure, perhaps Phuket? (: Also tomorrow's the start of Ramadhan. Happy Puasa to all who will be fasting this coming morning. Be good, be selfless, be nice, be reflective. Always remember, "Confidence is silent, insecurities are loud". Another reminder to be the change you wish to see in this world, as per previous-previous entry. xx, Jan |
